In het algemeen kan AI het werk ondersteunen waar het gaat om goed, doelgericht en snel verwerken van veel data en informatie. Dat kan leiden tot kwaliteits- en efficiency winsten.<\/p>\n<p>Maar ook de negatieve gevolgen of risico\u2019s voor de kwaliteit van de arbeid worden langzaam maar zeker duidelijk; de voornaamste gevolgen zijn: intensivering en deskilling of een verminderd beroep op vakmanschap bij vaktechnisch geschoolde of ervaren mensen.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast is er een nieuw soort werk opgekomen dat beheerst wordt door algoritmes, het platformwerk. Daar wordt het werk gestuurd, gepland, gemonitord en gecontroleerd door algoritmes, daaraan kan het management gevolgen verbinden voor beoordeling, beloning en loopbaan.<\/p>\n<p>Kortom: AI leidt niet automatisch tot \u2018goede banen\u2019, noch tot het verdwijnen van slechte banen, de uitkomst hangt af van het organisatieontwerp en managementregimes aan de ene kant en de deelname van werknemers aan de besluitvorming en druk van werknemerszijde, aan de andere kant. \u2018Goede banen\u2019 betekent meer dan lonen en vaste contracten; het gaat ook over werkinhoud en arbeidsverhoudingen.<\/p>\n<p>Om de gevolgen van de digitale transitie te beheersen, moeten we een goed inzicht hebben in de technische en organisatorische alternatieven en de machtsverhoudingen die betrokken zijn bij het ontwerp van organisaties.<\/p>\n<p>Om gebruik te maken van de sterke punten van AI of machinaal leren en de beperkingen te omzeilen, zullen organisaties de workflow opnieuw moeten ontwerpen en de taakverdeling tussen werknemers en machines moeten heroverwegen. De resulterende veranderingen in het werkontwerp zullen de aard van veel banen veranderen, in sommige gevallen diepgaand. Maar de implicaties voor specifieke groepen vaardigheden zijn nog onzeker en zullen gedeeltelijk afhangen van management- en organisatorische keuzes alsmede van de participatie van werknemers wier werk het betreft en niet alleen van technologie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>Referentie<\/p>\n<p>Pot, F.
