Maar veel van deze initiatieven raken verouderd als markten, sociale rollen en wetgeving veranderen en de technologische ontwikkeling doorgaat. Veel leidinggevenden missen hierdoor de kans om een duurzame voorsprong te genereren met weinig financi&euml;le middelen en weinig risico&rsquo;s: door het organisatorisch ontwerp de kern van de strategie te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Dit artikel bespreekt de gouden kansen voor leidinggevenden wanneer zij hun strategie opzetten rondom de het organisatorisch ontwerp en daardoor beter kunnen inspelen op wisselende markten en situaties. Het opzetten van een goed ontwerp kost veel tijd maar het betaalt zich uit in meer winst, minder kosten en minder risico&rsquo;s &ndash; meer dan wanneer ge&iuml;nvesteerd wordt in productontwerp en andere initiatieven op strategisch vlak.<\/p>\n<p>De organisatiestructuur als kern nemen voor de strategie is een nieuwe benadering, een evolutie ten opzichte van de structuren die kernmerken waren voor de 20<sup>e<\/sup> eeuw, waar verticale en hi&euml;rarchische structuren de eis waren voor goed presteren.De kernwaarden voor de nieuwe strategie van de 21<sup>e<\/sup> eeuw zijn &lsquo;&eacute;&eacute;n bedrijf&rsquo;, &lsquo;bestuursstructuren&rsquo;, &lsquo;kennis- en talentmanagement&rsquo; en de instelling om samenwerking tussen getalenteerde medewerkers te optimaliseren.<\/p>\n<p>Het gehele artikel <em>Better Strategy through Organizational Design<\/em> (2007) van L.L.
