Maar technologie\u00ebn alleen zijn niet het hele antwoord. We moeten ook meer aandacht besteden aan menselijke factoren door Workplace Innovation (WPI of in Nederland: \u2018sociale innovatie\u2019). Sociale innovatie is niet alleen gericht op het stimuleren van innovatiecapaciteiten, het stelt bedrijven tevens in staat innovatief te blijven en zich sneller en soepeler aan veranderingen aan te passen.<\/p>\n<p>Doel van het onderzoek<\/p>\n<p>Het doel van dit verkennend onderzoek was het onderzoeken van de aard, omvang, samenhang en be\u00efnvloedende factoren van WPI. Het is een drieledig doel. Ten eerste probeerde deze studie de factoren te onderzoeken die door kennisprofessionals als cruciaal worden beschouwd voor hun<\/p>\n<p>innovativiteit, werkprestaties en betrokkenheid. Ten tweede werd beoogd, kennis-organisaties te voorzien van een ge\u00efntegreerd raamwerk voor WPI op basis van zowel de empirische bevindingen als voortbouwend op bestaand onderzoek. Ten derde was dit onderzoek ook een poging om het unieke karakter van WPI te verklaren door de onderlinge relaties binnen ge\u00efdentificeerde dimensies en relaties met voorspellende variabelen te onderzoeken.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Methode en steekproef<\/p>\n<p>Op basis van het onderzoeksmodel is een enqu\u00eate-instrument ontwikkeld waarbij de meeste items zijn overgenomen uit eerdere onderzoeken. Het onderzoeksinstrument bevat 50 stellingen die betrekking hebben op zeven variabelen. De vragenlijst bevat ook vragen met betrekking tot het demografische profiel van de respondenten.<\/p>\n<p>De steekproef van dit onderzoek bestaat uit Indiase IT-professionals van 20 jaar en ouder.<\/p>\n<p>In totaal zijn 481 reacties verzameld van IT-professionals die werkzaam zijn in de National Capital Region (NCR) van India.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Resultaten<\/p>\n<p>De resultaten verkregen met verschillende statistische analyses, bevestigen de meeste hypothesen die opgesteld waren op basis van de literatuur.<\/p>\n<p>De studie toonde toonde aan dat werkprestaties, werkbetrokkenheid en innovativiteit van werknemers als de onmiddellijke gevolgen van innovatie op de werkplek worden gezien.<\/p>\n<p>Slimmer organiseren, flexibel werken, gebruik van hi-tech technologie en strategische ori\u00ebntatie van medewerkers zijn de belangrijkste drijfveren van werkplekinnovatie.<\/p>\n<p>Innovatie op de werkplek werd ge\u00efdentificeerd als de belangrijkste determinant van het werkgedrag van werknemers. Betrokkenheid speelde een interveni\u00ebrende rol. Het bemiddelde het effect van innovatie op de werkplek op de arbeidsprestaties en de innovativiteit van werknemers.<\/p>\n<p>Betrokkenheid medieerde daarnaast volledig het effect van flexibel werken op werkprestaties en innovativiteit van medewerkers. Betrokkenheid bij het werk medieerde ook gedeeltelijk het effect van het gebruik van hi-tech toepassingen op de werkplek op de innovativiteit en werkprestaties van werknemers.<\/p>\n<p>Ten slotte bleek uit de correspondentieanalyses dat hoge werkprestaties een positieve relatie hadden met een betere werkorganisatie en dat hoge werkprestaties en innovativiteit ook positief geassocieerd zijn met hoge flexibiliteit op de werkplek.<\/p>\n<p>Werknemers met een hoge strategische ori\u00ebntatie worden geassocieerd met een goed presterende werknemersgroep.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Referentie<\/p>\n<p>Mohsin Khan (2019) \u2018Culture of Workplace Innovation in Knowledge-Based Organizations: With Reference to IT and ITeS Companies in National Capital Region (NCR) of India\u2019.
