Een longitudinale kwalitatieve analyse van CAO-documenten uitgegeven tussen 1977 en 2021 door de Nederlandse vakbondsfederatie FNV, laat zien dat de Federatie haar Keynesiaans ge\u00efnspireerde inzichten geleidelijk heeft aangepast aan een meer marktgericht begrip van de arbeidsmarkt, lonen en werkgelegenheid, gelegitimeerd door de Derde Weg-ideologie in de jaren negentig. In de jaren na 2010 keert de vakbond terug naar het Keynesiaanse denken.
