Opvallend is het toegenomen belang van &lsquo;people-management&rsquo; in de taken van het middenkader en de behoefte aan coachend leiderschapsgedrag, terwijl organisaties tegelijkertijd ook meer sturing en focus op resultaat van hen verwachten.<\/p>\n<p>De stress-en funfactoren van het werken als middle-manager worden beeldend beschreven en tegen het eind van het boek prikken de auteurs ook enkele managemen-hypes als integraal management door.
