Dit artikel is een weergave van het interview dat de Gids voor personeelsmanagement had met de oprichter van het eerste uur, &lsquo;veranderdokter&rsquo; Dirk-Jan de Bruijn, en de huidige manager van I-Interim Rijk Jeroen Been.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Het bewijs dat het werkt is dat de mensen aan de deur kloppen om te mogen werken bij I-Interim Rijk.&rdquo; Niet alleen worden er kosten bespaard op externe inhuur, ook blijven de kennis van grootschalige ICT-projecten en talentvolle projectmanagers voor het rijk behouden. Effici&euml;nter werken en sneller op vragen kunnen inspelen zijn belangrijke nevenopbrengsten. Sinds januari 2011 actief, draait dit initiatief nu op volle toeren en het heeft nog veel meer potentie in zich.<\/p>\n<p>Met een steeds complexer wordende informatie-infrastructuur bewegen de grote ICT-projecten bij de rijksoverheid zich op het vlak van innovatie, strategie, investeringen &eacute;n besparingen. Daarom wordt er fors ge&iuml;nvesteerd in het upgraden van de regiefunctie, inclusief adequate aansturing van leveranciers. Het past in deze visie dat op cruciale regieposities ingehuurde externen worden ingeruild voor professionals en managers in dienst van het Rijk met brede ervaring in het managen van complexe projecten. Dat zijn precies de ICT-professionals die in de pool van I-Interim Rijk zitten. Zij worden ingezet op projecten zoals consolidatie datacenters of keteninformatisering voor de vreemdelingenketen. Tegelijkertijd bespaart de overheid op de, vaak structurele, inhuur van externen bij uitvoeringsorganisaties. De inhuur van specialistische kennis blijft wel overeind.<\/p>\n<p>In dit artikel komen onder andere de volgende onderwerpen aan bod: de werking van het pool in de praktijk, het benutten van talenten en een vooruitblik naar de toekomst.
