In dit onderzoek is gekeken naar de toepassing van high performance worksystems, de aard van het management in de praktijk en is onderzocht in welke mate deze managementpraktijken zijn gerelateerd aan organisationele prestaties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Waarom is dit sociale innovatie? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Een high performance work system (HPWS) is een set van HR praktijken gericht op het optimaal benutten van het arbeidspotentieel door het maximaliseren van de informatiestroom en de vaardigheden en motivatie van de medewerkers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aanpak <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Het oorspronkelijke model onderzocht alleen de standaard set factoren die aanwezig zijn bij HPWS en vallen onder human resource management (HRM). De onderzoekers hebben dit echter verbreed om niet alleen te kijken naar HRM, maar ook naar samenwerkingsverbanden op de werkvloer, flexibele werksystemen en gelijkheid en diversiteit op de werkvloer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resultaten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De resultaten van het oorspronkelijk model van HPWS bevestigen wat eerder onderzoek van het NCPP al had bewezen: strategisch HRM heeft zeker invloed op de prestaties van het bedrijf, zoals arbeidsproductiviteit, innovatie en het welzijn van het personeel. De nieuwe bevindingen laten echter zien dat andere factoren, zoals diversiteit en gelijkheid, significant verbonden zijn met arbeidsproductiviteit, innovatie en verminderd personeelsverloop.
