Als het aan het huidige kabinet Balkenende ligt gaat dat in de toekomst veranderen. De beroepsbevolking in Nederland is op dit moment aan het verouderen. De vergrijzing in Nederland zal &ndash; als er geen maatregelen worden genomen &ndash; in de komende decennia leiden tot tekorten op de arbeidsmarkt. Het kabinet staat op het punt om de arbeidsparticipatie van groepen die momenteel minder betrokken zij bij het arbeidsproces te verhogen.
