Op 1 juni 2007 is het lectoraat Sociale Innovatie ge&iuml;nstalleerd door de voorzitter van het College van Bestuurd van de Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (CHE). Drs. J.P. (Jack) Crielaard), lector Sociale Innovatie, heeft tijdens deze bijeenkomst zijn lectorale rede gehouden. Het lectoraat gaat de komende jaren onderzoek doen naar vraagstukken op het gebied van sociale innovatie: vernieuwing van mens en organisatie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inleiding<\/strong><br \/>In het nabijgelegen bos van Hoekelum kwamen wij dit toonbeeld van sociale innovatie tegen. Het plaatje van de boomstronk geeft u misschien niet direct een gevoel van: O, ja &#8230; natuurlijk, dat is het. Dat komt waarschijnlijk, omdat we een relatief nieuw begrip als Sociale Innovatie inpassen in de gangbare manier van denken. En die gaat uit van vooruitgangsgeloof. Ieder nieuw inzicht en iedere nieuwe maatregel passen we toch toe om vooruitgang te boeken? We vergeten daarbij dat we ook ruimte moeten maken voor vernieuwing.
