Formeel leren is deelnemen aan een cursus of training; informeel leren wil zeggen dat men leert van de taakuitvoering en van collega\u2019s op het werk.<\/p>\n<p>Hypotheses\/verwachtingen<\/p>\n<p>Er wordt een non-lineaire relatie verondersteld tussen veranderingen op de werkplek en leren door werknemers. Dat suggereert dat het optreden van meerdere veranderingen de deelname van werknemers aan leeractiviteiten stimuleert. Daarnaast wordt verwacht dat aanmoediging tot leren door leidinggevenden deze relatie ondersteunt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Methode<\/p>\n<p>De hypothesen werden onderzocht met behulp van enqu\u00eategegevens van een grote subgroep van werknemers die in 2018 en 2020 deelnamen aan de Netherlands Working ConditionsSurvey (NWCS).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Enkele resultaten en conclusies<\/p>\n<p>De resultaten tonen aan dat veranderingen op de werkplek over het algemeen zowel formeel als informeel leren stimuleren. Specifiek werd een niet-lineaire relatie met formeel leren gevonden, maar het patroon van de curve was eerder vertragend dan versnellend. Verder was de ondersteuning door de supervisor voor leren positief geassocieerd met zowel formeel als informeel leren en woog zwaarder dan de associatie van veranderingen op de werkplek met werk gerelateerd leren: voor werknemers die veel ondersteuning van de supervisor ervoeren, was informeel leren minder afhankelijk van veranderingen op de werkplek, maar voor formeel leren versterkte het de gevonden niet-lineaire relatie en leek het op een positieve curve die geleidelijk afvlakt. De resultaten worden in het artikel besproken in het licht van hun theoretische en praktische bijdragen.<\/p>\n<p>Concluderend, belicht deze studie de complexe relatie tussen veranderingen op de werkplek, ondersteuning door supervisors en leren van werknemers. De belangrijkste bevindingen laten zien dat veranderingen op de werkplek kunnen dienen als motiverende bronnen voor zowel formeel als informeel leren door werknemers; hoewel dat voor formeel leren slechts tot op zekere hoogte geldt. Ondersteuning van leren door supervisors kwam naar voren als een belangrijke factor voor werk gerelateerd leren.
