De dienstverlening gaat van bouwadvies tot en met bouwmanagement. Het bedrijf bewaakt het hele proces en ziet toe op de betrokkenheid van belanghebbenden.\u00a0 Vitrov heeft \u00a0nu elf medewerkers.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sociale innovatie<br \/>\n<\/strong>De directeur\/eigenaar Erik Damhuis wil bouwprocessen zichtbaar, open en transparant maken en zich richten op het toevoegen van waarde voor de gebruiker. Daarom moet de eigen organisatie ook die kenmerken hebben; het moet een &#8216;agile\u2019 (alerte en beweeglijke) organisatie zijn, waar vakmanschap en open communicatie de basis vormen. Uitgangspunt is dat ieder individu zijn of haar sterke kanten heeft en inzet. De medewerkers werken als zelfsturend team. Het uiteindelijke doel is om zowel het individu als de organisatie te laten excelleren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aanpak<br \/>\n<\/strong>Erik Damhuis is op 1 februari 2006 met Vitrov gestart om zijn eigen passie voor oude gebouwen en erfgoed te volgen en zijn visie op de bouwketen gestalte te geven: open, \u00a0transparant en gericht op het duurzaam gebruik.\u00a0 Hij heeft een naam voor het bedrijf gekozen die hieraan uitdrukking geeft. Vitrov is afgeleid van Vitruvius de naam van een Romeinse bouwmeester die gebruik en beleving van een gebouw centraal stelde.<\/p>\n<p>Voor de eigen werkorganisatie is die visie ook richtinggevend. In het dagelijks werk wordt ze toepasbaar gemaakt door het zogenaamde \u2018scrummen\u2019, een term uit rugbysport. De Vitrovianen staan elke ochtend van exact negen uur tot kwart over negen bij elkaar aan de scrumtafel. Ze beantwoorden dan telkens drie vragen aan elkaar, namelijk: wat heb je gisteren gedaan?, wat ga je vandaag doen? en wat houdt je tegen? Zo wordt ook in het arbeidsproces aan de kernwaarden openheid, transparantie en een kwetsbare houding invulling gegeven.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resultaat<br \/>\n<\/strong>Vitrov is een bedrijf waarin vakmanschap en open communicatie de basis vormen voor alle samenwerking en het excelleren van individuen en het bedrijf als geheel. Er is een cultuur ontstaan van leren en verbeteren.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Refere<\/strong>n<strong>tie<br \/>\n<\/strong>Het bedrijf werd op de Energiedag 2013 van Syntens\u2019 MKB Krachtcentrale uigeroepen tot een van de \u2018slimste bedrijven van Nederland\u2019.
